The inspiration for Clear Reflections came from the urban environment in which it is situated. The double-height space uses dark-toned fundamentals combined with widespread windows and reflections of greenery. This design approach enhances the user and visitor experiences, uniting the characteristics of the interior with the urban city.
What sets Clear Reflections apart is its innovative use of natural light and greenery. Positioned among rich urban camphor trees, the shopfront windows and extensive use of mirrors reflect and absorb the natural light and greenery, allowing the space to integrate itself within the city. This unique feature creates a harmonious blend of urban and natural elements, setting it apart from other jewelry shops.
The realization of Clear Reflections involved the use of various materials, including marble, leather, customized furniture, customized lighting, mirror, and brass. These materials were carefully selected and combined to create a space that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional. The shop covers a total area of 131.6 square meters, providing ample space for displaying jewelry collections.
The design project, which started in November 2015 and was completed in August 2016, took place in Taipei, Taiwan. The design team, which included Yang, Huan-Sheng Kuo, and Shih Hao, worked diligently to bring this unique concept to life. The project was captured beautifully by photographer Liu, Chun Chieh.
Clear Reflections is more than just a jewelry shop; it's a testament to the power of innovative design. The design, which was awarded the prestigious Golden A' Design Award, is a reflection of Yang's prodigious talent and wisdom. It embodies extraordinary excellence and significantly impacts the world with its desirable characteristics.
